i can't explain the faults
the different ways of mastering your thoughts
subconsciously giving it up
raising your hands against the follow up
we raise a glass in memory
to patch our broken hearts
Minuscule ideas soar through the sky as a cloud takes a form
a smog to the human eye fabricating each dream
euphoria packed tightly in pills
swallowed.
the world melts into my heart
where a symmetric line splits the before and after
as rainbows dance through my veins
i sit and breathe, so infatuated
my lungs play against the air
i'm escaping
my skin floats
the parade begins
i could open my eyes, expanding my view
to where the sky exploded
where the wind pranced, forming the perfect storm
branches took hold of each finger
and gliding across the sea we danced
prancing through clouds and strumming against stars
appreciating the music we make
tears poured emotions stuck inside a cavern
built by ferocious thoughts escavating deep into heart
and bombs implanted along these craters
to reveal the human lying inside each skeleton
yet stamped messages were rejected entrance
to prevent the hurt caused by our own hands
what was in sight became a blur to our own pupils
and water driblets weren't considered tears
emotion was a seed planted into the hearts
of outlaws who tore the walls holding each individual in
where each victim explored happiness
and love conceived every movement
until they vanished under each breath
where no longer they returned to water each seed
and carrying their own corpse they dove into security
and behind the walls grew prisoners of life
those who once gleamed against the sun
penetrating light into each fragment of skin
and there they held their own goodbyes
